2 People Dead After Minnetonka House Fire
The names of the victims in the Westwood Road home have not been released.
A house fire on Westwood Road in Minnetonka has resulted in the death of two people. Authorities were called to the scene north of I-394 around 10:30 p.m. on Friday. The house was engulfed in flames when they arrived. Two bodies were found inside the home after the fire was extinguished. The names of the victims have not been released. Fire crews from Minnetonka, Golden Valley, Eden Prairie, Plymouth, Hopkins and St. Louis Park were on scene. The Minnetonka Police Department and the State Fire Marshall are investigating the cause of the fire.
