Man Accused of Prescription Fraud at Hopkins Pharmacy
Demonz Deandrea Selmon has been charged with two counts of a fifth-degree controlled substance crime.
A 26-year-old Hugo man faces two felony drug charges following allegations that he used forged prescriptions at the Highway 7 Walgreens. Police went to the pharmacy Thursday in response to a report that someone was using a forged prescription to get Percocet and oxycodone, Detective Raymond Laudenbach wrote in the charging documents. Officers saw the man and identified him as Demonz Deandrea Selmon. The pharmacist told police someone had presented a similar prescription in January 2013 that was confirmed to be a forgery by the purported issuing doctor.
