Hopkins Man Charged with Felony Drug Possession
Police say they found methamphetamine and Xanax when they searched Michael Thomas Fann's Hopkins apartment.
A Hopkins man is facing felony drug charges after police say they found methamphetamine and anti-depressant pills in his home. Michael Thomas Fann, 26, is charged with two counts of fifth-degree drug possession, each of which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Members of the Southwest Hennepin Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Fann’s apartment in the 900 block of 11th Avenue South on Oct. 2, according to the criminal complaint, signed by Hennepin County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Hinz.
