Packs of snow and ice on the road resulted in road incidents and travel delays.
The winter storm that hit Minnesota over the weekend brought over a foot of snow in some cities and dangerous road conditions. By the Monday morning commute, many major roads were in fair condition, but not perfect. Slippery and hardened snow packed areas led to morning road troubles and lengthy commutes, according to the Star Tribune. The evening commute should be better, WCCO reported, as the Minnesota Department of Transportation continues to clear the road.
