The nationwide burger chain is eying a building site near the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 7.
Following an earlier announcement in which the Hardee’s fast food restaurant chain said it would build as many as 59 new locations around the Twin Cities over the next five years, an article by City Pages yesterday showed that one of the new Hardee’s locations may open in or very close to Hopkins. Although it’s difficult to pinpoint the potential restaurant’s exact location on a map included in the City Pages article, it appears that the new Hardee’s would be located east of Highway 169 near Highway 7. According to the company’s website, there are 25 Hardee’s in Minnesota. The location currently closest to Hopkins is on Hamline Avenue in St. Paul, approximately 13 miles from the city.
