(VIDEO) Hopkins Education Foundation's Royal Bash Raises $120K

The money will go toward programs at Hopkins schools.

Hopkins Education Foundation’s Royal Bash and online auction raised more than $120,000 to fund grants in Hopkins schools, the foundation announced Thursday. The sold-out event took place Feb. 25 at the Golden Valley Golf and Country Club—with entertainment that included a live band during the cocktail hour, a wine frenzy game, silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing.  But the focus was on the foundation’s education programs—notably the “iPad Special Appeal: Unleash the Power of the iPad” that builds on last year’s successful pilot grant. The auction contains 260 items in a variety of categories.
