Congressman Paulsen Presents Hopkins Student with Service Medal
Britta Hanson received her Congressional Award Silver Medal this week from Congressman Erik Paulsen.
On Wednesday, Representative Erik Paulsen (MN-03) presented Hopkins High School junior and Minnetonka resident Britta Hanson with the prestigious Congressional Award Medal. Youth Congressional Awards for Volunteer Services recognize young people who exemplify the principles of service, initiative, and achievement. To earn the award, students must set and achieve goals in four program areas: voluntary public service, personal development, physical fitness, and expedition/exploration. Students register with the Congressional Award Foundation, set his or her goals and work with advisors to achieve those goals.
