Hopkins Man Charged With Pushing Over Uncle In Wheelchair Twice

Antone Rico Anderson is also accused of trying to choke the man.

A Hopkins man is accused of pushing his uncle’s wheelchair over twice after the alleged victim refused to give him any more work. Officers went to a 14th Avenue North apartment at 3:28 p.m. Dec. 26 to investigate a 911 hang-up, Detective Raymond Laudenbach wrote in the criminal complaint filed Friday. They heard yelling when they arrived. After they knocked on the door and announced “police,” they heard window blinds shaking and saw a man fleeing out of a window. Officers learned the man was 24-year-old Antone Rico Anderson. They later arrested him at the Hopkins Village Apartments unit where he lives. An unnamed man who is confined to a motorized wheelchair told police that Anderson, who is the victim’s nephew, had been at the 14th Avenue…
