Homes are in close proximity to this park, but it's a valuable space for children to play because it doesn'tMore require them to cross busy Blake Street. 

It offers a modern playground for young children. Older children and adults can enjoy the basketball courts and soccer field.

The park is hard for passing drivers to see. It can be accessed by the first alley south of Oxford Street, on the east side of Blake Street.

Downtown Park

The park is also a place for fun. It's home to Music in the Park every summer, and the Hopkins Farmers Market takes place nearby from mid-June to October. With its location so close to downtown stores and restaurants, it's a good place for a picnic lunches beneath the shade trees.
