The Depot is an old train station turned coffee shop right on the main drag of Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins. They specialize in locally roasted beans for their coffee, espresso and iced drinks. They also have a nice variety of coffee alternatives. And because they are located on the Three Rivers Regional Trail System, you can always find people of all ages congregating at this hot spot.

This is my favorite place to get a cup of coffee and sit and read. The coffee is always fresh and delicious, the people very friendly and helpful. I love the fact that this place is green and the wonderful building is being used. It sits right off the bike trail or a convenient intersection The use for our youth is a must also. Oh ya- did I mention I live this place!!

I love everything about The Depot! I stop by when biking on the trail, attend Spoken Word and concerts, meet friends for fun and conduct business there. But above all this, I love the retro, depot feel and the coffee, drinks and treats are delicious. They have taken "green" to a whole new level; re-purposed building, recycling made easy and SOLAR power!! Thanks for setting a wonderful example for all ages!
