Summer Festivals Bring Street Closures to Hopkins
A list of when drivers should expect delays in downtown Hopkins.
Summer is a season full of fun in Hopkins, but there are some minor inconveniences for drivers looking to pass through the downtown.

The parade will briefly disrupt traffic crossing Mainstreet on Sixth Avenue through 11th Avenue.

Hopkins Arts Festival (July 7 and 8): The annual event will close parts of Mainstreet.

- Flat City Bike Race (9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 8): Eighth and Ninth Avenues from First Street North to First Street South.
- Kiddie Parade (5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 9): Mainstreet from Ninth Avenue to 13th Avenue.
- Family Day (5 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 14): Mainstreet from Seventh Avenue to 14th Avenue. Expect traffic delays when going north or south across Mainstreet.
- Grande Day Parade (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15): Mainstreet from Fifth Avenue to 17th Avenue. Traffic will not be able to cross Mainstreet during the parade.
