2012 Raspberry Festival: Sporting Events

Take part in a wide variety of sports offered in conjunction with the festival.

The 78th-annual Raspberry Festival runs July 7 through July 15. There is no shortage of events to keep active throughout the festival.

USTA Tennis Tournament

Hopkins Youth Hockey will host a headlined by a National Wrestling Alliance “Seven Levels of Hate” match between “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce and “Colt” Cabana.

Sunday, July 8

Flat City Bike Race

With different course lengths for kids and young adults, this race is sure to offer something for everyone. The entry fee is $25 for all races except juniors, which costs $10. Additional races cost $10 per race. The kids fun race is free.

Men’s Softball Tournament

Men’s class C and D Teams only for this one-day, three-game-guaranteed tournament. Prizes awarded to first and second place teams. 

Hopkins Raspberry 7’s Rugby Tournament

Hopkins girls and boys teams playing against local Rugby teams.

Jaycees Waterball Tournament

The fourth-annual waterball contest takes place on one court with modified international rules with a limit of 16 teams, with a cost of $30 per team or $50 for two teams.
