The Hopkins Royals boys lacrosse team dug a hole they couldn't get out of, losing 11- 5 to the Trojans on Thursday night at Wayzata High School.

The Trojans built an 8-1 lead by halftime, leaving the Royals searching for answers and visibly upset with their performance during the intermission.

Hopkins outscored Wayzata 4 - 3 in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome the seven point deficit.
