Two Hopkins Players Chosen for All-Star Football Game

Tavaughn Blair and Brett Bremer will take the field June 30 at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Minnesota Football Coaches Association announced Wednesday that two athletes will play in the 2012 All-Star Football Game.

Defensive back Tavaughn Blair and defensive tackle Brett Bremer will be playing on the South team.

The All-Star Football Game showcases outstanding senior players from the 2011 high school football season. Blair and Bremer will first join the other players for an All-Star training camp that takes place June 24 through June 30 at St. John’s University in Collegeville.

The game itself takes place June 30 at TCF Bank Stadium. Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. The game will be the 39th in the current series and the 50th overall.
