Senior Spotlight: Krista Johnson

Krista is currently an outfielder on the Hopkins High School softball team.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up and why?

Jess Swartout—She played for Hopkins softball and basketball and has always been my biggest role model.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Bubbly, outgoing and energetic.

What is your favorite subject in school?

English.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be and why?

I would be Rachel McAdams because she's a fabulous actress, and then go shopping.

What is your favorite quote?

"Start each day as if it were on purpose."

What song do you listen to before games to get you pumped up?

"Lose Yourself" — Eminem.

What has been the most exciting moment in your life so far?

Going to Alaska for two weeks.

What are your plans for next year?

Going to Minnesota State University-Mankato and majoring in early education.
