Following a fourth-place finish Thursday, the Royelles are in second place as they prepare for the final Lake Conference meet of the season.
The Hopkins High School dance team finished fourth at the Edina kick meet. That leaves them with a total of 18 points for the season, behind only Wayzata’s 25 points.

Hopkins is second among the five schools in the conference for kick meets.
The final conference competition will be a jazz meet, in which it also sits in second place. That meet takes place Jan. 17 at Hopkins.
The Royelles have at least three more meets after conference competition ends, including the 2AAA section meet Feb. 2.
