Hopkins High School (0-3 Lake Conference, 5-7 overall) defeated Southwest High School (4-0 Minneapolis City Conference, 9-5) Monday night 25-13, 20-25, 28-26, 25-19 at home. 

The Royals will face a huge challenge tonight when they take on class 3A No. 8-ranked Eden Prairie (3-0, 13-4).

Next up: Hopkins plays Eden Prairie 7 p.m. tonight at Eden Prairie High School.
