The Hopkins Royelles danced well before a home crowd at the first conference meet of the season.

The varsity Jazz team placed second at Thursday’s meet, competing against Wayzata, Edina, Minnetonka and Eden Prairie.

The team’s next meet takes place Dec. 6 at Minnetonka High School against the same teams.
