Hopkins Softball Falls To Hastings In Class AAA Semis
The Royals will face North St. Paul on Friday at 11 a.m. in Mankato in the third place game
The Hopkins softball team lost a 7-2 decision to Hastings on Thursday in the Class AAA semifinals at Caswell Park in Mankato.
The loss sends the Royals to Friday’s third place game against North St. Paul. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. in Mankato.
Hopkins couldn’t stop Hastings’ Michaela Mills on Thursday, who went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to help lead the Raiders to victory. Meanwhile, Hastings pitcher Treya Connell allowed eight Hopkins hits and struck out nine in the complete game win.
