Hopkins Shooters Place Second in Conference

Tom Koppe's 22.3-point season average was fourth in the 13A Conference among boys, while Kelsey Specht's 15.9 points ranked her seventh for the girls.

The Hopkins High School Trap Club  finished trap-shooting season ranked second in its conference, according to the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League.

The team’s 94 total points placed it behind only St. Michael-Albertville High School.

Hopkins shooters will next try to carry their success into the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League State Tournament that takes place June 7 though 9 at the Alexandria Shooting Park. About 200 students are expected to compete.
