Hopkins Lacrosse Falls to Robbinsdale Armstrong

The Royals lost Wednesday's game 7-2.

Hopkins lacrosse fell to Robbinsdale Armstrong in a 7-2 loss Wednesday.

Derek Brueske and Griffith Woodyard each scored a goal apiece and remain among the Minnesota State High School League’s top scorers—ranked sixth and 14th, respectively, while Kyle Law is ranked ninth.

But their efforts were far from enough. Although Hopkins was down  only 1-0 after the first quarter, goalie Justin Skaug had eight saves in that quarter alone. The deficit grew to 5-2 by the third quarter, and the Falcons piled on with two more unanswered points in the fourth.
