Hopkins Dance Coach Receives Coach of the Year Award

The Minnesota Association of Dance Teams honored Royelles Head Coach Allison Bridges

The Minnesota Association of Dance Teams has named Hopkins Coach Allison Bridges as its head coach of the year in the AAA category, the organization announced.

Winners are selected by their peers for having “made exceptional contributions to the sport of high school dance during the competitive dance season,” according to a school district news release. The association presented Bridges with the award in early March, according to the school district.

Bridges has been head coach of the Hopkins Royelles dance team for nine years and expanded the program, increased the level of competition and grown student participation.
