Hopkins' Bremer Finishes in Top 20 at State Alpine Skiing

Bremer's 1:10.1 finish good for 17th overall

The Hopkins boys alpine skiing team had a top-20 individual finisher at Wednesday’s state meet.

The Royals’ Brett Bremer took home 17th place overall at Giants Ridge in Biwabik, finishing his two-run event with a combined time of 1:10.1. St. Thomas Academy’s Dylan Thomas won the event with a 1:07.0 total time.

Bremer finished his first run in 35.9 seconds, and followed it up with a second run time of 34.23 seconds.
