Hopkins Boys Rugby Still Undefeated after Beating St. Michael

The Royals won 31-19 Friday.

The Hopkins boys varsity rugby team remains undefeated after beating St. Michael-Albertville 31 to 19 in Hopkins on Friday.

"The boys worked hard and played extremely well against a physically larger team," said head coach Dan “DJ” Johnson.

The game had particular resonance because many considered it a rematch of last year's junior varsity state championship game.
