The younger brother of Varmah Sonie, who was the 2008 Mr. Football Award wiiner, will be asked to defend McDonald.

Royals win if...
They can find a replacement for all-time Hopkins passing leader Billy Gregg, who is now playing at St. John's University.

Eagles win if...
They can build on the momentum they gained from last year. They lost their first six games, but won their final contests by a combined 56 points before falling to Burnsville in the playoffs 22-16.
