West Junior High Student Selected for MBDA Honor Band

Hopkins ninth-grader Mo Robblee was one of 81 students selected from the 220 who auditioned.

The Minnesota Band Directors Association (MBDA) selected West Junior High ninth-grade student Mo Robblee for membership into the 9-10 Grade Honor Band. Robblee’s director at West Junior High is Danielle Boor.   

Robblee was one of 81 students selected from the 220 who auditioned this winter for a position in this group. The students will rehearse with Dr. Haberman on Saturday, April 20, and then perform a concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 21st in the Chanhassen High School auditorium.

The Honor Band program is an on-going project of the MBDA, a professional organization of band directors representing band programs from all grade levels throughout the state of Minnesota.

It is an organization founded with a genuine spirit of dedication, and with the intent to work cooperatively with other organizations.
