(VIDEO) New Videos Showcase Hopkins Public Schools Programs

The videos feature the district's early childhood, elementary and high school programs—with a junior high video to come soon.

officials are proud of the learning that takes place at local schools. Now they’re using video to get the word out about the district’s activities.

The district commissioned video production company iDream.tv to create videos about its programs. One shows an ordinary day at . Two more showcase the district’s early childhood and elementary programs.

The company should complete a video on the junior high program in the next couple weeks, and the district plans a highlight video that showcases all levels together, said Jolene Goldade, a school district spokeswoman.

“With video, you can show things a lot better than you can in words,” Goldade said. “It’s just another way to engage our audience and show them what’s going on in our buildings.”

The videos are currently available on the Hopkins Public Schools Vimeo channel, as well as the school district's website. Principals will also likely receive hard copies to show off their programs.
