On Tuesday, graduates of the Adult Options in Education GED program walked onto the stage and collected their diplomas. Students worked with tutors and advisors from across Hennepin County to pass the grueling seven-hour exam session necessary for the diploma.
As part of the celebration, Hennepin County Judge Toddrick Barnette reflected on the importance of a GED on the path to success. St. Louis Park Community Poet Diane Pecoraro read a poem inspired by the students in the program.
