(PHOTOS) Royals Basketball Wins at Target Center

Hopkins defeated Sioux City East in Saturday's Timberwolves Shootout.

The Royals brought their uptempo game to the Target Center on Saturday for the 2012 Timberwolves Shootout. The team cruised to a 97-74 victory over their opponent from Iowa. 

Zach Stahl led the team in scoring with 21 points. Siyani Chambers added 18 points and had four assists. 

The team took on the 7-foot,1-inch center from Sioux City East, Adam Woodbury. Nicholas Jorgensen and the rest of the Royals defense kept the damage to a minimum and did not let Woodbury dominate the lane.

Hopkins, which improved to 11-1 with their win, will face Robbinsdale Armstrong Jan. 10 at home.
