(PHOTOS) 'Camp Read-A-Lot' Comes to Eisenhower Elementary

The event is part of I Love to Read Month.

Summer may still be a few months off, but students are already in the midst a two-week camp.

Camp Read-A-Lot celebrates I Love to Read Month. Between Feb. 22 and March 2, the students are experiencing a variety of activities that bring together books and a camp theme.

PTO volunteers covered classroom doors with paper, and classes decorated them with reading themes. Students also take time during the school day to read—with older students joining the younger ones as “reading buddies.”
