North Junior High Student Named to Youth National Volleyball Team

Hopkins volleyball player Samantha Seliger Swenson has been named to the Youth National Volleyball Team and will be competing in the European Global Challenge Tournament in July. The Youth National Team will consist of the top 12 youth players in the country. Seliger Swenson has been a starter for the Hopkins team since 7th grade. She was also recently named top sophomore in the state by Breakdown Sports and will be one of 25 players on the cover of their 2012 Volleyball Guidebook.

The Youth National team will start their tour in Martignacco, Italy as guests of the Italian Youth National Team. They will play the Italians four times in Martignacco, Gorica, Claut and Trieste, Italy before heading to the Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia on July 15 - Good Luck!
