The organizations will sell oranges, grapefruit and cashews, chocolate pecan turtles and whole bean coffee to benefit both groups.

Editor’s Note: The following announcement comes from Hopkins Public Schools.

The Hopkins High School International Club and the Hopkins Rotary Club are conducting their annual Fruit Sale fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit both groups. Items for sale include oranges, grapefruit and cashews, chocolate pecan turtles and whole bean coffee. Orders can be placed at 952-988-4570 or 612-275-5614.

Students will make their sales by calling homes on the evenings of Oct. 15, 16, 22, and 23.  The fruit will be delivered Saturday, Nov. 17. Arrangements can be made for residents who will not be home for the delivery.

The Hopkins International Club is a diverse mix of American, exchange and immigrant students. Barriers are broken down as students learn from each other by sharing cultures and experiences. International Club activities and events are recreational and free. They include bowling, roller-skating, snow tubing and more.
