The Hopkins Legislative Action Coalition urges you to join us at the State Capitol for our Education Rally Day this Wednesday.

Our partnership with our neighboring school districts of Orono, Wayzata, Osseo and Robbinsdale will make a big impact on our legislators, as we present a united front on education issues.

We will meet in Room 300 at the South State Office Building from 10:15 until noon, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

This event is an informal Open House for legislators to meet with their constituents and learn about the legislative priorities for education policies and funding for these 5 school districts.  We have confirmed attendance with Hopkins Legislators including Senators Terri Bonoff, Ann Rest and David Hann, as well as Representatives John Benson, Ryan Winkler, Steve Simon and Yvonne Selcer.  Additional Legislators are in committees, but invited the Hopkins constituents to drop by and share their thoughts.

Your presence makes a HUGE impact on our legislators!  They want to hear what matters to you.  Whether you would like to just listen and learn or voice your opinion, please join us to show our legislators WE CARE about education.
