Hi

Everyone wants to learn how to play a musicial instrument at some point of their life.  I hear it all the time "I always wanted to learn guitar and I think its time."  This is a good thing and perhaps a great thing.  But what alot of people don't understand and don't realize is this....

A. Learning to play an instrument is hard!

That's right folks, you have to be disciplined enough to find the time to practice.  This is required for learning anything.  Especially the language of music!  Its going to be hard, its going to take time, and its going to take patience!  But the reward will be well worth it.  Once your able to play even a couple songs it will never go away.  It's almost like riding a bike.  You can always do it.  You can always play the song.  How cool is that?!  Now, some people I feel choose to start learning music at not a good time in their life and this often creates a bad experience between them and the music.  I encourage people who aspire to play guitar or whatever instrument that they choose to make sure its the right time and to make time to practice.  I strongly feel anyone can learn the basics even if it doesn't come easy.  If you can spend only 20 min a day for 3 or 4 days a week you will begin to see progress.  I promise!  Instead of checking face-book or your email for the billionth time pick up your guitar and pluck away.  You will be happy you did.

Its not easy and sometimes its not fun to practice the same thing over and over.  I've spent pain staking hours practicing the same measures and in the end I became such a better player.  Once you break threw some of these doors you will be able to unlock something you've never known was possible.  Go ahead, I dare you to begin.....
