(VIDEO) Hopkins Invites Renters To Join In

The City's 'Engaging Raspberry Renters' program builds community bonds with tenants.

In Hopkins, renters aren’t just residents living in the city for a short time. Rentals make up nearly 60 percent of the community’s housing units.

The city launched its Engaging Raspberry Renters program in 2009 in order to build stronger community bonds with this sizable majority. The council works with local apartment complexes to organize events that bring tenants and city officials together.
