(VIDEO) Cargill Donates $7,500 to Hopkins Fire Safety Efforts

The money will help with public education efforts.

The Hopkins Fire Department got a boost to its fire prevention efforts last week.

At the March 6 council meeting, Cargill donated $7,500 to the department to support technology for its public education programs.

The money will be used to buy computers and screens that will be used when talking about fire safety with the public. It will also help provide educational DVDs and CDs in languages other than English.
