Residents to City: Bring in Jobs, Keep Crime in Check
A study the City of Hopkins commissioned found that crime and jobs topped the list of worries.
This spring, the City of Hopkins surveyed residents for the first time since 2007.
Minneapolis-based Decision Resources called 400 randomly selected households—on cell phones and landlines—to find out exactly what residents thought about their community (at least within the ±5 percent margin of error). The results were overwhelmingly positive.
In the coming days, Patch will be taking a look at what the survey found. In this edition, we examine the challenges residents see ahead and how they think officials should improve the community.
