Learn what issues the art curriculum review will cover: Hopkins Public Schools is launching a review of its art curriculum, with the department scheduled to make recommendations during the 2011-2012 school year. School board directors will discuss the program’s performance, continuing it into the 2012-2013 school year and its expansion to other elementary schools. Find out more about the program at Thursday’s School Board meeting.

Discuss Hopkins’ “academic milestones”: For the past six months, School Board directors have been discussing so-called academic milestones that measure how well students are performing. At Thursday’s board meeting, directors will vote on nine proposed milestones.
