News and Notes from the City of Hopkins

The following information was provided by the City of Hopkins:

Signs have gone up for two new restaurants at the new developments on 17th Avenue and Blake Road. The City has also received information about other likely tenants.

Streetz American Grill has committed to a space at Crossroads Plaza located at 17th Avenue and Highway 7. Other tenants that are expected at this location include Jet’s Pizza and CD One Price Cleaners. There are also additional spaces that remain to be filled.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries will be located at Knollwood Crossings on Blake Road. Other expected tenants include Sprint, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Yogurt Lab, PizzaRev, and Fantastic Sam’s.

Interior spaces are currently under construction and it is expected that many of these businesses will open later this fall.

Interlachen Neighborhood Garage Sale

The Interlachen Neighborhood Association will be holding its annual garage sale on Saturday, September 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Stages Theatre Company presents Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse

Lilly is a youngster who looks at things very simply. She loves everything! Her friends Chester and Wilson share her excitement and wonder at discovering the world around them. In Kevin Kling's wonderful adaptation of the Kevin Henkes book, we get to share the friends' adventures and learn about the mysterious black holes in Swiss cheese as taught by favorite teacher Mr. Slinger.
