Voters will be able to hear what the candidates have to say before the November election.

Voters have several chances to meet candidates for local elections in the coming days and weeks.

The League of Women Voters kicks off at 7 p.m. Thursday with mayor and City Council candidates. Audience members will have a chance to submit questions to the candidates. The event takes place at .

The series continues at 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at City Hall when the League of Women Voters hosts for School Board candidates.
