Hopkins Accepting Citizens Academy Applications

Learn all about your city government at this five-week course.

The City of Hopkins is now accepting applications for the 2013 Citizens Academy. The Academy informative, fun, and free. It is a five week course that will let you:

  • Participate in a felony traffic stop.
  • Take the position of a firefighter on an engine and learn how a firefighter prepares to fight fires.
  • Visit the water treatment plant
  • Discover how economic development projects are put together.

Classes will be held at 6:30 pm on five Thursdays beginning April 4, each at a different location within the City.
