Hennepin County security found a box of bricks and rocks, along with a threatening note, at the Government Center Plaza where OccupyMN protestors are demonstrating, according to a Hennepin County news release.
The note described the items as supplies for a riot. OccupyMN leaders say the items are a setup that go against everything the movement stands for.
The Hennepin County release noted that the Sheriff’s Office spent $200,080 in personnel cost since the start of the OccupyMN demonstration—$128,780 in overtime pay and $71,300 in regular pay.

- One man unresponsive and extremely drunk was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.
- One man taken to HCMC for a diabetic reaction.
- One man taken to the hospital for a head injury to HCMC. The cause of the head injury was not known.
- One suicidal man was transported.

- One person fatigued on the plaza and refused further medical treatment.
Oct. 12
- One person fell from a wheelchair. Hennepin County Medical Center handled the incident.

- . Hennepin County Security had previously given her a trespass notice and after she wrote on a building with chalk.
Oct. 20
- Minneapolis Police for impeding traffic at Sixth Street and Second Avenue. The protesters set up three tents in the middle of the intersection.
- A man who was hearing voices on the plaza required medical assistance.
Oct. 21
- An unknown person lit a portable toilet on fire. Suspect unknown.
- One woman and two men ran around the plaza wearing underwear. They left the plaza before they could be stopped and identified.
Oct. 23
- Officers arrested a man on suspicion of theft and obstruction. He’s accused of stealing items from other demonstrators.
- A man who was using alcohol on the plaza was found to have a warrant out of Stearns County and arrested. He was also trespassed from the property.
Oct. 24
- Hennepin County Security found a box of bricks and rocks on the Government Center Plaza. A note attached to the items described the items as supplies for a riot.
