(PHOTOS) Hopkins Police Host 'Daddy and Me' Event

The department opened its doors to young children wanting to learn more about police.

Dads, grandfathers, uncles and others headed to the with young children Tuesday to learn more about officers’ jobs.

The department’s “Daddy and Me” event gave children a chance to crawl through police vehicles, talk with officers, explore the jail and read police-themed books—in addition to enjoying free ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery.
