Officers met the victim, who was upset and crying. She told police that she woke up to find Pollack pulling off her pants and her underwear.

The woman said she had been at a party in the home and that Pollack had been “getting into the personal space” of the female guests. She said she went to sleep on the living-room couch between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. and that she was completely dressed when she fell asleep.

Sometime around 7 a.m., the woman said, she woke up to find Pollack pulling her jeans and her underwear down to mid-thigh. She said she began to scream at Pollack, telling him to stop. He replied, “I’m going to be in so much trouble for this,” according to the complaint.

The woman said she got up and ran into a bathroom, screaming for her friend, who found her in the bathroom. During the commotion, Pollack tried to leave, according to witnesses.

Another witness told police that Pollack went outside, looking for someone to give him a ride. Before he was able to leave, however, the victim’s friend came out and confronted him. Pollack admitted to the attempted assault, saying, “OK, I did it all,” according to the complaint.

Pollack then left but was arrested later.

Pollack has been released from custody on a $100,000 bond. An omnibus hearing in his case is scheduled Jan. 11 in Hennepin County District Court.
