Hopkins Police announced Friday that they were offering $1,000 to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves behind a rash of car break-ins in Hopkins.
The thieves have caused an estimated $20,000 in damage to almost 50 vehicles in . The cars were all parked in underground garages in downtown Hopkins and along Blake Road, an the thieves stole mostly electronic items, like GPS units. One car was also stolen during the break-ins.
Police say tipsters will be able to remain anonymous, and ask that anyone with information regarding these crimes contact the department at 952-938-8885.
