Firefighters Douse St. Albans Road House Fire

The fire was confined to the bedroom.

Firefighters put out a fire in a bedroom Sunday night on St. Albans Road West, Hopkins Fire Lt. Derek Mann said.

At about 10:15 p.m., firefighters received a report of smoke and fire in a home at 21 St. Albans Road West. Crews arrived on scene shortly afterward and were able to knock the fire down, Mann said.

The fire was confined to the bedroom. No one was hurt in the incident.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Fire investigators remained on scene to uncover the cause. Hopkins Patch will have more details as they become available.

Fire crews from Edina, St. Louis Park and Minnetonka also responded to the incident.
