Fire Department Offers CPR, AED Classes

The one-hour class can increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest.

The is offering to teach residents skills they could someday use to save a life.

Starting in August, the department will have free classes on adult, hands-only CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator, or AED.

The free, one-hour class does not offer certification, but it still teaches students skills that can be vital in emergencies.
