Parents want to ensure the best for their children. This week, safety experts want to help transform those wishes into more than just good intentions.

As part of Child Passenger Safety Week, communities nationwide are offering free, hands-on child safety seat inspections and advice—culminating with National Seat Check Saturday on Sept. 22.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will also have car seat safety experts available to answer car seat and child passenger safety questions via Twitter handle @NHTSAgov at 1 p.m. CST Wednesday.
