VIDEO: Car Crashes Into Pond Following 'Medical Situation'

The man had no visible injuries but was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

A man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center Thursday following a “medical situation” that caused him to drive his vehicle into a pond off Highway 169, according to the State Patrol.

Two witnesses saw the man’s sedan driving erratically prior to the incident, said State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske. The vehicle went off the highway, behind a guardrail and into a pond near the southbound Minnetonka Boulevard entrance ramp.

The witnesses were able to pull the man out of his vehicle. He did not have any visible injuries but was taken by ambulance to Hennepin County Medical Center.
