Blotter: Stolen Meds and 4 a.m. Break-ins

Monday, Feb. 27

  • 10:33 p.m. — Someone tried to take a vehicle that was left running in a lot on the 8300 block of Excelsior Boulevard. The suspects got on the bus.

Tuesday, Feb. 28

  • 12:51 a.m. — An 11th Avenue South resident told police that a person stole her medication while at her home the previous weekend.
  • 2:02 p.m. — A woman told police her daughter transferred money out of her account. The woman originally gave the daughter her account information to transfer money into her account. She said her daughter later went in and transferred the money into her own account.

Wednesday, Feb. 29

  • 7:40 a.m. — Police learned that someone entered a Washington Avenue North home at about 4 a.m. while the wife was home.
  • 3:28 p.m. — Police received a report of an unspecified theft at a home on the 600 block of 10th Avenue South.

Thursday, March 1

  • 5:05 p.m. — A resident reported that keys and a vehicle were missing from 11 10th Ave. S.
